This musical advent calendar features a rotating wooden Christmas tree with an illuminated star at the top.
The 24 small drawers contain 24 small handpainted ornaments to hang on the tree.
When you open a drawer the tree rotates and one of 24 Christmas carols plays.
Tree is battery Operated.
Having tested out one of these when I was photographing it I liked that any drawer that you open will start the movement and song. The songs aren't set to associate with a single drawer so openig and closing a drawer will start a new song each time it is opened and closed. This is quite handy as with all toys a switch will wear out on a drawer and with all the drawers able to start and stop it you won't loose the function of the tree. I also noted something that they don't say but becomes obvious when you use it. When you open the drawer and remove an ornament to place on the tree you need to shut the drawer to stop the turning of the tree to place the ornament on it. There is a natural tendency to open the drawer which starts the music and tree turning and then your child is going to want to put their new ornament on the tree. Wait for the song to end shut the drawer which stops the tree and help your child put their ornament on. Trying to hang a turning tree is not a good idea.
